Raymond Hartley
Raymond is our Managing Director and is an Analytical Chemist with
many years of laboratory experience. After graduating he worked in the pharmaceutical, explosives, and food
industries before moving to Woolworths where he managed the in-house food lab for many years.
He was instrumental in obtaining participation in an EU research project (Bio-tracer) for improved
bio-traceability of unintended microorganisms and their associated toxins in food and feed chains. He also
holds an Honours degree in Business Management.
Ryno Mostert
Ryno was appointed as our Financial Manager from 01 March 2011. He is a graduate of Port Elizabeth and obtained his BCom degree majoring in Financial Accounting. He did his articles at Mazars Moores Rowland in Port Elizabeth, now known as Mazars. On completion of his articles Ryno spent two years at Mazars as an Audit Supervisor.
Ryno is an avid game fisherman and also serves on the committee of the Atlantic Boat Club in Hout Bay.
Melissa Hattingh
Melissa manages sales and client relationships at our Cape Town lab.
After graduating, Melissa started working in our Chemistry Lab in Cape Town and became lab manager before
taking over our sales and client relationship portfolio. Melissa is your direct contact for any queries that
you may have relating to analysis or advice that you may require regarding nutritional labelling.
Gauteng Micro Laboratory
Dimpho Moruri
Dimpho manages our pharmaceutical analyses and maintains Medical
Control Council (MCC) accreditation for the lab. She previously worked for NHLS (Mafikeng Provincial Hospital)
in the Microbiology lab and then joined iThemba Labs (Cape Town) as a Research Assistant in the Radiobiology
department where she was responsible for the maintenance of cell cultures and labeling pharmaceuticals with
radioisotopes for research purposes (cell irradiations). Dimpho gained extensive food microbiological
experience, during her time at Swift Micro Labs and Tiger Brands Beverages.She also has extensive experience
in GMP, HACCP and SANAS accreditation.
